Acting Classes
Seguin Performing Arts Co. is offering acting class for children ages 8-12. Lessons will take place Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Students will develop and sharpen skills through games, improvisation, monologues and scene studies. Larry Zimmerman Benefit

GriefShare
McQueeney Baptist Church will be holding a GriefShare support group sessions. GriefShare is for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend through death. The first session will begin Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. in the youth department. There is a $15 charge for the workbook.
Lions FC Practice Sessions
Lions FC Cubs training for boys and girls ages 4 to 7, will run Sept. 15 through Nov. 17. Lions Cubs practice sessions are Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. and games are played Fridays from 6 to 7 p.m. Sessions last for 10 weeks with a professional coaching staff. I-35 Workshop
The 1-35 Citizen Committee wants to hear from the public on their proposed road and rail solutions for the I-35 Corridor. Reduced Meal Applications
Application forms for SISD free and reduced price meals for children served under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program are being distributed to all SISD households. Teatro the Artes De Juan Seguin's newly instated computer lab will be available for public use Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students of the TLU Computer Science department will offer instruction and assistance during these times.

"Sell Your Stuff Garage Sale"
There will be a "Sell Your Stuff Garage Sale" every third Saturday of each month this year at the Seguin Activity Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Set up time is 8 a.m. Booth fees are $10 per 10 X10 space and $5 for a table. Annual Fan Drive
Summer temperatures have arrived and Seguin Fire/EMS is gearing up for the Annual Fan Drive for people who do not have air conditioning. Those in need may contact Seguin Fire/EMS at 401-2310. Donations may be made at the Municipal Courts/Fire Administration Building on Hwy 46.
CCSCT Box Fan Drive
The Community Council of South Central Texas is asking for donations of box fans or other fans to help Seguin residents. Fans can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 808 N. Pine. Monetary donations are accepted as well. For more information, call 379-3022.
ACS Volunteer Drivers
The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program in Guadalupe County is again in need of of additional volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients to various apartments. There is no set time of day, only when time is available. For more information or to sign up, call 303-6113.
100 Club Accepting Members
The Guadalupe County 100 Club, which raises funds for officers, deputies, firefighters, paramedics and detention officers who are hurt or killed in the line of duty, is now accepting members. Membership for a first responder is $25 a year. Membership for members of the public is $100 per year. Lifetime memberships and business sponsorships are also available.
