"Beloved Disciple" Study

Emergency Medical Shelter Management Training

GriefShare Sessions

McQueeny Baptist Church will hold GriefShare sessions for the community starting Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. in the youth department. GriefShare is a 13-week, Biblically based support group that includes video and discussion of how to cope with losing a family member or close friend. There is a $15 charge for the workbook. First United Methodist church continues their Angel Food ministry selling boxes priced from $28 to $41. Cash, checks and Lone Star cards are accepted. Cross Church is holding their annual Missions Fish Fry on Sunday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at 814 N. Bauer. Tickets for the meal are $7 in advance and $8 at the door, with a drive-thru available. There will also be raffle tickets sold for $5 each or 5 for $20.
